At the start of 2019, mere days before the start of Welcome Week, the USU released radical funding changes which reduced the viability of rehearsal pizza to ashes. The SUMBA executive, led by Treasurer April Guest, fought tooth-and-nail to keep the pizza coming and keep our members happy.
A review of the C&S changes after Semester 1 revealed a large drop in the number of campus events! To combat this drop, the USU has modestly increased event-based funding to 50% of event cost + $1 per USU member present.
Ladies and gentlemen, the SUMBA executive present to you “The Sacred Table of Rehearsal Pizza”. Based on the $5.45 value range from Domino’s Newtown, this table outlines the suitable number of pizzas to break-even or make it rain!
